Frequently Asked Questions
Which dice score points?
Only a 1 (100 points) or a 5 (50 points) scores on its own. Other face values count only as part of at least three matching dice from the same roll, or in a straight or three pairs using all 6 dice.
When can you bank your points?
As soon as you have scored points during your turn, the Bank button adds them to your total and passes play to the next player. The app requires no minimum score to bank.
What happens when no die scores?
You bust: all points earned during that turn are lost, and play passes to the next player. Your banked total stays unchanged. When rolling just one die again, this risk is 66.7%.
What are hot dice?
When all 6 dice have been set aside, they all return to play and the turn continues with its points intact. You can then roll all 6 dice again or bank.
How does a game end?
The first player to reach the target triggers the final round: every other player takes one more turn. The highest total then wins, even if it does not belong to the player who reached the target first.
Do you always have to aim for 10 000 points?
No: for each new game, the app offers targets of 5 000, 10 000 and 15 000 points. The default target is 10 000 points.
Do four 1 score more than three 1?
No: in the app, four matching dice always score 1 000 points, including four 1, which is the same as just three 1 (1 000). Setting aside only three 1 leaves one more die to roll again.
Can you play with several people?
Yes, from 1 to 6 players on the same device, always with 1 computer-controlled opponent. Everyone takes turns.
